Learn about the eventful history of Switzerland – once a low-wage country and today known to be one of the richest countries in the world. This tour gets you behind closed doors and stops at places normally inaccessible to the public. Our local guides will give you their personal and well researched insight into different aspects of Switzerlands history: Banking, the watch industry, our national hero William Tell and the foundation of Switzerland. No other tour offers exclusive access behind the scenes at the Tellspiele (Interlaken's open air William Tell theatre) and the Tourist Museum Unterseen! The Story of Switzerland is not about learning thousands of dates and historical facts, but instead it is an interactive way to cut the surface and see what’s behind the image of Switzerland. When? Pub crawl guides on holiday, back again 8th April 2017! “The day also has a night” - P.W. and after exploring the beauty of Interlaken during the day you should definitely explore the nocturnal party life in the town between the two lakes... The young local guides of Interlaken Walking Tours wanted to provide visitors to Interlaken with an insight into their weekly nightlife, so they founded the ‘Interlaken Pub Crawl’: a tour through two to three bars and one club. After the tour you will know our favourite bars. We share a special story with each of the bars - don't hesitate to ask us about it. On the ‘Pub Crawl’ the first drink (a shot) at each place is included - four shots in total - and you'll be guided by entertaining and cool local guides. Local for us means, that we dare to say we know a lot about this place - challenge us and find out the most interesting facts about the region...We stay at each pub for around half-an-hour, so you have plenty of time to profit from the special deals on drinks our guests have at most of the pubs. Party with us, get a drink with friends and join us this Saturday, 9.30 @ the Unspunnenstein right across from the Backpackers Villa. See you there!
